She is a proud Ishgardian raised by merchant parents, living together in the Holy See. She was put through the Academy at a young age, where she trained under the Knights as a lance wielder. Upon her graduation she was named a part of the First Spears of Ishgards Scourge. They were the best in class and finest Dragoons to brave the way against the Drakes and Dragons that plagued the land, hunting down Nidhoggs kin.
Upon their ascent against him, all of her unit was all but destroyed, save for her and one other. She lost her first love and everyone else she cared for.

She is on the look for her family after receiving a letter from Kugane. It was from her mother, saying that her father was ill. The details were unclear, perhaps the letter was forged, but she's willing to take the chance in trying to find them both.
